2016 marks our 6th year raising money for our battle to rid our world of Polio. To date, we have raised over $10,000 through this event.
With the impact of matching funds from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation last year, close to 16,000 children were immunized from last year’s event alone. Let’s raise the bar this year and help us surpass last year’s mark. 20,000 children immunized has a nice ring to it!
Please join us at Talen Energy Stadium (f.k.a. PPL Park) for a great game and great fellowship, and most importantly, help us help Rotary get us across the finish line in this critical battle against Polio.
What time?
Join us at 5:00 p.m. for a tailgate party with fellowship, food and beverages, hosted by the Rotary Club of Chester and the Westown-Goshen Rotary Club is providing a keg of beer, donated from Boxcar Brewing Company. Limited edition “End Polio Now” scarves are available at the tailgate party only to help us raise addition funds for the cause.
At 7:00 p.m. the game will start with special recognition at the pitch for Rotary and our efforts to End Polio Now followed by the game.
Tickets are $30 with $10 going to Polio Plus. With Matching from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, for every ticket sold, 50 children will be immunized against polio!
