A Message to our Guidance Counselors

The RYLA program has been in place for many years to help our young leaders develop their leadership skills.  On behalf of the 1300 Rotarians across throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area, we are pleased to support this program.  We understand the importance of developing our future leaders and RYLA is a key to our strategy to developing our future leaders.

This program is sponsored by Rotary Clubs throughout the District and our partnership with School Guidance Counselors is critical to the success of the program.

What Role do Guidance Counselors Play?

Organizing and delivering a successful RYLA program is dependent to a large degree on our partnership with the Guidance Counselors in our schools.

While we try to make the process as easy as possible, we count on your help to identify those students in their Sophomore years that have demonstrated leadership qualities and potential.  Difference clubs have difference levels of resources available to sponsor students to the RYLA program. Many schools in the District have well established relationships with their local Rotary Club and we thank you for your continued partnership.

For those schools that have not participated in the program previously, please feel free to contact your local Rotary Club to explore opportunities to sponsor a future leader to attend RYLA.

Following are links to the relevant documents to help you as you work with your students.  Whether you are doing this for the first time, or are seasoned in the process, we hope these documents will help.

   (includes Photo Release, Medical Form, Cancellation Fee Acknowledgement, Code of Conduct Acknowledgement)
3. Medical Form – Complete all fields including data of last tetanus shot a.k.a. DPT
   (Medical Forms missing information such as date of tetanus have to be rejected)
4. Photo Release
5. Cancellation Fee Acknowledgement
6. Code of Conduct Acknowledgement
   – OR –
7. Print the Required Document Package which includes the 4 documents above. 

What about last year’s Forms?

Please do not use forms from previous years.  These are legal documents and we can only accept the current year forms.

The process is simple but all steps are required.

When are registration documents due?

All completed documentation must be mailed to the address above and postmarked by January 10th or earlier.
